Susan Markham

Susan Markham is the Director of the Peace With Women Fellowship program at HFX. She previously served as a partner and co-founder of Smash Strategies, as the Senior Coordinator for Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment at USAID, as Director of Women’s Political Participation at the National Democratic Institute, and previously as a political consultant domestically. She earned a Master’s degree from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from the Ohio State University. Susan works and lives in Washington, DC with her family and two dogs.
