Joaquin Matamis

Joaquin Matamis is a Participation Manager at HFX, where he supports the planning and organization of the annual forum in Halifax, Nova Scotia. A 2021 graduate of Seton Hall University’s School of Diplomacy and International Relations, he received his B.S. in International Relations and B.A. in Economics with a minor in Asian Studies. He has previously interned with the International Trade Administration during the COVID-19 pandemic and completed his undergraduate thesis on U.S. government responses to conventional threats and cyber attacks.
