Halifax at the centre of International Security Forum

Halifax gradually became a place where some of the world’s top thinkers and doers get together to share vital ideas and information. “There is sort of an unencumbered sentiment (that) comes over people when they arrive in Halifax,” Peter MacKay, the former Canadian defence minister, said about the ninth annual Halifax International Security Forum that begins Friday at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel.”
